Our Lady of the Assumption School is located in Carmichael, in the Diocese of Sacramento. Our parish was established in 1950 and our school in 1955 by the Sisters of Loretto. Our principal Mr. Robert Love was appointed in July of 2006. We have very dedicated and enthusiastic teachers with many years of service at OLA. Kindergarten through fourth grade operate in self-contained classrooms with an aide assigned to each class. Grades five through eight are organized departmentally. A resource program is in place to help students with special needs. We have a large library, science lab, fine arts room, computer lab and general meeting room. We also offer an Extended Care program on school days from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
