Mass Schedule for Altar Servers, EEMs, & Lectors

Altar Servers

Young people from 5th grade upwards are invited to participate as servers at the altar. 

Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharistic
Deacon Michael Tateishi, Liturgy@olaparish.net
Eucharistic Ministers assist the Presider in the distribution of communion at Mass and other special events.

Lectors

Lectors proclaim God’s Word to the assembled faith community at daily and Sunday liturgies and other special celebrations. 

Music
Dorothy Carpenter, Music Director, Music@olaparish.net
Ministers of Music assist the assembly in proclaiming God’s Word through the singing of hymns, psalms, acclamations and songs of praise.  Each weekend Mass has its own choir.

Ushers
Parish members contribute to the flow of all weekend and holyday Masses and various liturgical and sacramental services.  They arrange for the presentation of the gifts, coordinate the weekly offertory collection and distribute the bulletins.

Eucharistic Homebound Ministries

Eucharistic Homebound Ministers visit parishioners who are unable to attend Mass, bringing Eucharist to them in their homes or care facilities.  Many of our members work in teams or with partners. 

Ladies Council

The OLA Ladies Council is a threefold organization focusing on spirituality, service and socialization.  OLA Ladies Council is open to all women of the parish over the age of 18. 

Legion of Mary

The Legion of Mary is an international evangelical organization dedicated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Offertory Counters
Volunteer teams count the offertory collections. Substitutes and new team members are always needed.

St. Vincent de Paul Society - OLA Conference

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SVdP) is an international organization of Catholic lay persons who respond to the needs of the poor living within the OLA parish boundaries.  These needs are met through the operation of a twice-weekly food locker and home visitation teams who provide temporary assistance with rent, utilities, clothing, furniture, etc.
Food Locker hours of operation: Tuesday/Thursday, 9:00 a.m.-10:50 a.m.

Volunteers provide time and talent to build homes for families in need.

Bereavement Committee

All Saints Mr. and Mrs. Club

A group of Catholic married people providing good companionship while engaging in wholesome activities.  The three objectives are the spiritual, educational and social welfare of married couples.  Couples married in the Catholic Church may join as long as one partner is a Catholic.

PERT (People Enjoying Retirement Together)

PERT (People Enjoying Retirement Together) promotes the spirit of friendship among members and provides opportunities for mutual enjoyment through programs, activities and assistance to enhance the temporal and spiritual life of our later years.

Buildings and Grounds Committee

The Buildings and Grounds Committee is an appointed board that coordinates the regular maintenance and improvement of the parish buildings and grounds.

Finance Committee

The Finance Council is an appointed board that advises the pastor on parish financial affairs and plays an active role in the preparation of the parish budget and of the Annual Parish Finance Report submitted to the parishioners and to the diocese.

Liturgy Board

In consultation with the pastor, the Liturgy Board coordinates regular activities associated with Sunday Masses as well as planning and implementing seasonal liturgical activities and services and assisting in preparing the environment for sacramental services.

Pastoral Council
